ABOUT
Marina was born into a family spanning two generations of skilled carpenters.
Immigrating from Italy her father established himself within 10 years in building and developing residential luxury homes and apartments across Sydney and regional NSW. He was joined by his eldest son focusing on Northern and Eastern localities gaining recognition as award winning property developers.
Raised in building and construction she believes if you focus on scope, and practise meticulous methodologies it will ultimately result in outcomes that are second to none.
Intrigued with building & development together with interior design, Marina changed direction in 2016 . She completed her studies with Sydney Design School and started her online business Evoke Interior Decorating followed by Moodblogs soon after graduating from a Certificate IV in Interior Decoration.
Marina has a special interest in interiors tailored to bachelors living in apartments or studio spaces. Her focus is on creating functional living that resonate with her clients' success and personal style, even if they are unsure where to start. This evolving area of her business is dedicated to simplifying the design process, making it smart and convenient. With a fully tailored online experience, she ensures that every detail reflects individuality while maximising the potential of their space.
Marina prefers to source Australian owned textiles and furniture and with an inherent attention to detail, she understands quality craftsmanship. Inspired by her heritage, she equally sources collections from Italian textile and design houses, with an appreciation of its long history of design principles and architectural achievements.
Marina has been a Member of the Design Institute of Australia and recognised as a DIA Accredited Designer.
